Laken USA, distributor of Laken water bottles (recently featured on Oprah) has hired Sweet Onion Creations, who has teamed up with Joseph Money to build a 3-phase website. The site is starting with a simple splash page and some PDF content available as a download. The second phase will bring Laken USA up to speed with a brochure-style site, adding some flash movies to view products. The third phase will be a completely-custom website built on a WordPress back end for content management.

The WordPress back-end is proving to be a powerful tool for simple page and content management. The ability to post pages and blog posts through an easy-to-use dashboard is proving to be just what the doctor ordered for many of the projects rolling in this year.

Laken is just one in a long line of projects that are kicking off with Sweet Onion Creations. Jake and the Sweet Onion crew are great to work with; and it looks like this relationship with Sweet Onion Creations has proven to be a very good move. I am glad to be on board. AHOY!
